Hundreds were in attendance for the 25th Anniversary Stakeholders Celebration for Guajome Park Academy in Vista. Assemblywoman Tasha Boerner Horvath presented a state resolution, Council Members Joe Green and Corinna Contreras addressed the community, and Superintendent Kevin Humphrey’s spoke of the accomplishments of the past, present, and future. Tasha Boerner Horvath said, “Happy 25th Birthday to Guajome Park Academy! The themes that emerged at today’s anniversary celebration were collaboration and community. For over two decades, educators, school administrators, business partners, students, and parents have worked together to create academic spaces that are student-focused, innovative, and just the right amount of challenging. Thank you for helping to shape our future!
Guajome Park Academy is a K-12 public charter school in Vista, California, that was established in 1994. It offers the IB Diploma Program for eleventh and twelfth graders.
