Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) is teaming up with Oceanside Art Walk to launch Street Level x Art Walk. This new summer event series invites the community to explore and celebrate Oceanside’s vibrant creative scene. The three-event series kicks off Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5:00 –8:00 PM, with free museum admission, live entertainment, and creative vendors—before guests explore additional stops along the Art Walk tour in downtown Oceanside.

The inaugural event spotlights the neurodivergent community with a live performance by Jungle Poppins – a band featuring members who are on the autism spectrum – known for their quirky originals and upbeat movie soundtrack covers. Guests are also invited to explore The Art of Autism: A Different Lens—OMA’s powerful current exhibition celebrating neurodivergent artists. A docent-led tour of the exhibition will be available at 6:00 PM, and the evening will also feature local artists and craftspeople selling handmade goods on the terrace and in the museum store.

This all-ages event series is a fusion of two beloved Oceanside happenings – Oceanside First Friday ArtWalk and OMA’s Free First Fridays, offering a chance to mix, mingle, and create your own O’riginal experience with artists, innovators, and changemakers right in your backyard.
