NORMAN, Okla. – Cal State San Marcos senior Chris Tuulik has been named to the 2018 NCAA Division II PING All-West Region Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Averaging a 72.93 a round this season, Tuulik boasted the fifth best scoring average in the CCAA and had top five finishes in four of CSUSM’s 10 tournaments, including two runner-up finishes. He tied for fifth at the CCAA Championships and was CSUSM”s top finisher in six tournaments.
Tuulik is the fourth Cougar in program history to earn this honor at the NCAA Division II level, following current teammate Braeden Koran (2017) as well as Dylan Healey and Dale Smith.
Tuulik was named CCAA Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 27 – Oct. 3.
