What a fantastic morning at Crown Point Shores North at Mission Bay! There were hundreds of smiling faces and the joy was palpable. So much excitement and enthusiasm for a great cause, GiGi’s Playhouse.
GiGi’s Playhouse is a great organization that supports individuals with Downs Syndrome and their families in navigating life. It has 61 playhouses nationwide.
GiGiFit Acceptance Challenge, is an annual event with a 5k run, a 1-mile Inspirational walk, with a special “Kids Dash” just for the kiddos with Downs Syndrome! There were even donuts from Krispy Kreme waiting at the finish line!!
This event would not be possible if it were not for all the volunteers, families, sponsors and at the helm of it all, Marissa Chavez, Site Manager of GiGi’s Playhouse San Diego.
