The 24th Annual Vista Duck Race launched last Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Wave Waterpark. Admission was $5 and included entry to win over $10,000 in prizes as thousands of rubber ducks raced down the Riptide Slide at 2:30 p.m. Extra entries were earned by purchasing Vista Bucks, shopping locally, or uploading selfies. The ‘City Hall Cup’ featured a race between five autographed ducks, each representing a member of Vista’s City Council. Over 1000 ducks participated at a very exciting race throughout the WAVE and there were 50 winners.
