A person was found deceased inside a trailer.
On July 10, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., Sheriff’s deputies from the Valley Center Substation responded to a call of a missing person in the 15000 block of Woods Valley Rd., in Valley Center. Deputies ultimately located the deceased person inside a trailer upon the property with signs of trauma. Due to the nature of the incident, the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
