>The City of Escondido is currently working in collaboration with local communities, fire protection districts, and City staff to develop the 2025 City of Escondido Community Wildfire Protection Plan Update (CWPP). A CWPP is designed to assist the City and property owners in mitigating wildfire risk by assessing areas at risk and recommending measures to decrease those risks.
