Few places in Oceanside blend natural beauty and community impact quite like Ivey Ranch Park Association. This year, its inspiring work and scenic grounds have caught the attention of local artists and will serve as one of the featured locations for the upcoming Oceanside Plein Air Festival.
More than just a beautiful landscape, Ivey Ranch is a vital nonprofit that supports individuals of all ages and abilities through inclusive programs that foster independence, connection, and respect. On Wednesday, September 10 from 2 to 5 PM, around 20 artists will visit the ranch to paint everything from tranquil pastures and majestic horses to the vibrant energy that makes this place so meaningful.
This special collaboration with Oceanside Museum of Art is a powerful way to highlight the heart of our community through creative expression.
The festival runs from September 6 to 13 and will end with an outdoor art sale and juried exhibition at Oceanside Museum of Art. The final collection of works will remain on view as a tribute to the unique people and places of Oceanside.

Ivey Ranch Park Association enhances the lives of people with and without disabilities through care, education, and equine-assisted services. Since 1981, the association has served children and adults with disabilities while promoting integration and inclusion for the able-bodied as part of the core mission. Each week, the association supports over 300 individuals, focusing on community participation, personal choice, self-respect, and self-reliance. Currently, more than two-thirds of the clients have moderate to severe disabilities, including behavioral disorders, genetic disorders, and disabilities caused by accident or trauma.
