The Vista Irrigation District (district) will be hosting its final community information session for its water rate study at its headquarters building located at 1391 Engineer Street in Vista on Thursday September 18, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the study process, proposed water rates and charges and why the proposed increases are necessary. District staff and its rate consultant will present information about the study and be available to answer questions. Attendees will also be able to visit information tables to hear about the study, large capital improvement projects, water quality, and more.

Vista Irrigation District is a public agency governed by a five-member elected board. The district provides water service to more than 132,000 people in the city of Vista, as well as portions of San Marcos, Escondido, Oceanside, and unincorporated areas of San Diego County.
