Tri-City Healthcare District is currently in negotiations with Sharp HealthCare to enter into a long-term affiliation agreement. If transacted, this would turn over operational and financial responsibility of Tri-City Medical Center to Sharp HealthCare. As a California healthcare district, Tri-City is owned by the constituents residing in the cities of Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista.
