On 12/17/2023, at approximately 9:30 am, Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Gangs Division, along with agents from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), served a Search Warrant at a business located at the 1400 block of Poinsettia Ave. in the city of Vista.
The search warrant was the result of a complex ongoing investigation related to the suspected manufacturing and sale of food items containing psychedelic chemicals and analogs. The business was closed for several hours while investigators searched the property and seized approximately 20 pallets of food items.
The investigation is related to a press release made by the CDPH on December 11, 2025, warning customers not to consume TRE House Brand Magic Mushroom Gummies, Chocolate Bars and Syrup made by the brand TRE House.
The employees detained at the location were later released, and no arrests were made.
