The Vista Public Arts Commission announces the Call to Artists for the 2026 Kites Over Vista exhibition.
The submission deadline is February 17, 2026.
Winning proposals will be selected by the Public Arts Commission and approved by the City Council. Criteria will include artistic merit, public safety, appropriateness of the artwork, materials used, and the artist’s resume. Only two submittals per person are allowed. Only one may be selected. Artists may be interviewed.
