SAN DIEGO — California’s so-called gender secrecy law for public school students is now at the center of a legal battle headed toward the U.S. Supreme Court.

A federal district court judge issued a class-wide permanent injunction on Dec. 22, blocking the policies, but on Jan. 5, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals stayed the injunction, which allows policies to resume in public schools during the appeal, according to reports.
