A water main break on Saturday that shut down one of Carlsbad’s busiest intersections triggered a local emergency and required a highly coordinated rapid response. Today, I’ll share how city teams worked together to ensure public safety, make repairs, keep the community informed and reopen the roadway more quickly than many people thought possible.
