Looking for a way to give back while enjoying the outdoors? Join the City of Carlsbad for a volunteer trail event at La Costa Glen Trail and help keep our local trails safe, accessible and beautiful for everyone.
Volunteers will work alongside city staff to make improvements to the La Costa Glen Trail. No experience is required. Staff will provide a work plan, safety training and all necessary tools at the start of the event.
La Costa Glen Trail volunteer event
Saturday, March 14
8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Meeting location: On the trail near the Jimbo’s parking lot at The Forum Carlsbad near 1923 Calle Barcelona.
Know before you go:
Volunteers will help with trail surface improvements and vegetation removal along the trail corridor.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
Bring sunscreen, a hat and a reusable water bottle.
The city will provide water, snacks and all necessary tools.
Parking
The preferred parking area is behind the YETI store at the Forum Carlsbad
Please allow extra time to park and walk to the trail meeting location.
