Dust off your boots and break out the flags! The Valley Center Western Days Parade is returning to the heart of town on Saturday, May 23rd, and this year promises to be a spectacular, history-making celebration.
Now officially organized by the Valley Center Business Association (VCBA), the 2026 parade is pulling out all the stops. Under the leadership of Parade Chairperson Laura Gordon, this year’s theme is a patriotic tribute: “Celebrating America’s 250th.” To honor the nation’s Semiquincentennial, organizers are issuing a community-wide call to action: bring as much red, white, and blue as possible. The VCBA is asking residents and local businesses to help cover the streets of Valley Center with American flags to create a sea of patriotism along the parade route.
