Dutch Interior, coming out of LA as the newest “y’allternative” sensation, is quickly carving out a sound all their own. The six-piece blends ambient textures, slowcore drift, experimental folk, and Southern rock grit into songs that feel both otherworldly and deeply human. Their 2025 Moneyball debut on Fat Possum Records introduced a cohesive, inquisitive sound born in their self-built Long Beach studio.
The new EP It’s Glass builds on that foundation—bigger in scope yet intimate at its core—five interconnected tracks that expand and unravel in equal measure.
With support from Oscar Lindsey and Boyce Hartsell, expect a transportive night of alternative rock that’s expansive, immersive, and alive.
Vista’s AVO Playhouse will be hosting its follow-up concert on Friday, April 24 at 7pm. The LA-based “alt-folk” supergroup Dutch Interior will be headlining and has been described as Smashing Pumpkins meets Joni Mitchel. Dutch is supported by local rockers Oscar Lindsey and Boyce Hartsell.
Belching Beaver will be serving drinks inside the theater to accompany a night of alternative indie rock, new folk/country twang, and the charming allure of North County’s premier historic theater.
