NORTH COUNTY — Tuesday’s primary election in North County will whittle down the field heading into November’s general election.
California will kick off the final race for statewide offices, such as governor, secretary of state, attorney general and more. In North County, state assembly and senate primaries, along with heated congressional and supervisor races, are on the ballot. Also up to voters is Measure H to allow a partnership between Tri-City Medical Center and Sharp HealthCare.
The results below are as of 11 p.m. on Tuesday, as San Diego County still has thousands of outstanding ballots and is not expected to finish the count for several days or weeks. The county Registrar of Voters reported voter turnout at just 23.2% on Tuesday.
Two state races also cross into Orange County, while the 48th Congressional race includes Riverside County. The vote totals for those races include those races’ respective counties.
