The North San Diego County NAACP is raising funds to send several talented students to the 2026 NAACP National Convention (in Chicago), where they will compete in the Annual Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO).
ACT-SO is a premier achievement program that celebrates and supports the academic, artistic, scientific, and leadership excellence of African American high school students. After months of dedication, preparation, and hard work, these students have earned the opportunity to showcase their talents in areas such as STEM, business, humanities, and the arts on a national stage.
Unfortunately, financial barriers may prevent some students from fully participating in this life-changing experience. Your contribution will help cover travel expenses, competition materials, lodging, and other essential program costs, ensuring that these outstanding young leaders can represent our community and pursue their dreams.
By supporting this effort, you are investing in the next generation of scholars, innovators, artists, and community leaders. Every donation—regardless of size—makes a meaningful difference.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your family, friends, colleagues, and networks. Your support helps expand opportunities for deserving students and strengthens the future of our community.
Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our youth.
Best regards,
North San Diego County NAACP
