Downtown Oceanside is a place to live, work, visit, and enjoy. We’re stepping up enforcement to help keep it safe and welcoming for everyone.
In response to ongoing community complaints, the Oceanside Police Department is increasing traffic enforcement in the downtown area, focusing on driving behaviors that affect both safety and quality of life. Officers will be paying particular attention to things like running stop signs, amplified music, e-bikes, speeding, loud and modified exhausts, and more.
Please do your part: slow down, obey traffic signs, and drive/ride responsibly.
