SAN MARCOS, Calif. – September 21, 2026 – The Hill District Masterplan Community is pleased to announce a new partnership with Fit, San Diego’s award-winning fitness and wellness brand, to manage and operate the resident-exclusive fitness facility within The Club, the community’s central amenity building. The fitness facility is anticipated to open in November 2026 and will offer homeowners a professionally managed wellness experience designed to support healthier, more connected lifestyles.
The collaboration reflects a growing demand for wellness-focused amenities where people live. Rather than providing a traditional fitness room, The Hill District is partnering with an established fitness operator to deliver professional staffing, fitness programming, and a curated resident experience.

As part of the partnership, Fit will oversee fitness equipment selection, facility operations, group fitness programming, resident check-in services, and ongoing management of the approximately 2,000-square-foot fitness center. The facility will feature premium Gym80 equipment and a professionally developed schedule of group fitness classes, including yoga, Pilates, strength training, HIIT, stretching, and full-body conditioning programs.
Beyond access to a resident-exclusive fitness facility, homeowners will have opportunities to engage with the broader Fit community. Residents will be eligible for preferred pricing on Fit All-Club memberships, providing access to Fit locations throughout San Diego, along with participation opportunities in Fit events and the FitPerx program, which offers discounts and benefits from hundreds of local businesses.
The partnership is Fit’s second residential collaboration with Shea and Lennar, expanding its growing portfolio of professionally managed wellness experiences within master-planned communities.
