The Vista Irrigation District Board of Directors will consider opposing the Golden Pacific Powerlink project at a Special Board meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the District’s headquarters located at 1391 Engineer Street, Vista CA 92081.

All stakeholders are invited to attend the upcoming board meeting to provide input on the project proposal. This is your opportunity to voice your perspective directly to the Board before a decision is made to oppose or support this project.

Read Vista Irrigation District’s concerns about the potential adverse impacts to water supply, water quality, and fire protection from San Diego Gas & Electric’s proposed Golden Pacific Powerlink (Project). The Project is a proposed 500-kilovolt transmission line being developed by SDG&E that would travel from the Imperial Valley through San Diego County to a future substation in Orange County. The Project’s preliminary alignments would cut cross land owned by the District in Warner Springs, in San Diego County.
