The weather is finally starting to feel like fall in Carlsbad, making it the perfect time to enjoy the seasonal offerings at the State Street Farmers Market. Join us today, Wednesday, October 14, from 2:30-7 PM in downtown Carlsbad Village for fresh finds, fall flavors, and an afternoon of shopping local.

This week, bring a little autumn home with pumpkins and gourds from Maldonado Growers, beautiful marigolds and dried bouquets from JR Organics Farm, and white sunflowers from Maciel Family Farm for just $5. Whether you’re decorating your doorstep or adding a seasonal touch to your home, there’s plenty of inspiration throughout the market.

Fall flavors are making their way into the market, too. Love Dreams Pie has pumpkin, apple, and bourbon maple pecan pies with traditional, gluten-free, and vegan gluten-free crust options. You’ll also find Pumpkin Pie Almond Milk from The Mulk Co., freshly baked pumpkin bread from Grammy’s Granola, and a limited-time truffle butter from Forme Pasta Co.

Looking for dinner? Dry Dock Fish has Alaskan Wild Coho Salmon, local Wild Opah, and Grouper, while Grilled Cheese King is serving grilled cheese with tomato soup, a fitting combination for the cooler weather. You can also enjoy island-inspired comfort food from Papa’s Pacific Island BBQ or fresh paella from Emilio’s Paella.

With the time change approaching next month, make the most of these sunny Wednesday afternoons while they last. We’ll see you today on State Street between Grand Avenue and Carlsbad Village Drive in the heart of Carlsbad Village. For today’s vendor list and market info, click here.
