Carlsbad, CA — Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) is seeking residents and business leaders to fill seven vacant seats on its Community Advisory Committee (CAC), representing the cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Escondido, Oceanside, San Marcos, Solana Beach and Vista for terms beginning in 2027.

The CAC serves as a forum to provide feedback to the Board of Directors on operational matters as directed in an annual work plan, and acts as a liaison between the Board and the local community.

Prospective applicants must reside or own a business within the city they seek to represent, with a preference given to candidates with backgrounds in electricity, community outreach or policy advocacy.

“Serving on the Community Advisory Committee gives voice to our community,” said Dr. Debra Schade, who chairs the CAC and represents Solana Beach. “Bringing local perspectives ensures residents and businesses are heard and helps ensure that priorities like affordability and sustainability remain central to our region’s energy future.”

To apply, interested residents and business owners can download the CAC application on the CEA website and submit the completed form along with a current resume to Clerk@TheCleanEnergyAlliance.org.
