The Escondido City Council is seeking applicants for the Historic Preservation Commission due to a recent vacancy. The term of office will expire on March 31, 2020.
The Historic Preservation Commission is responsible for developing and implementing the City Historic Preservation Program under the direction of the City Council, and advises the Council on matters relating to historic preservation.
Appointed by the City Council, this seven-member Commission meets on the third Thursday of every other month at 3:30 p.m. Due to specific membership criteria an application and a resume are required.

Applications can also be downloaded from the city’s website at www.ci.escondido.ca.us. Please submit your application to the City Clerk’s Office no later than Monday, December 3, 2018.
