The 68th Annual Escondido Jaycees Christmas Parade “Wild About Christmas” will take place on Saturday December 8th, 2018 and will start promptly at 9:30am. The parade will go South on Broadway from Escondido High School to Grape Day Park.
THE PARADE ROUTE
The parade starts at Escondido High School and proceeds south on Broadway down to Grape Day Park. Click here for a Google map of the Parade route.
The Judges are located in front of Broadway Baptist Church (1135 N Broadway). While entries will be performing their best at this location, you will not be able to hear any announcing due to TV filming.
Announcing Stages are located at Mission & Broadway and Washington & Broadway.
Please be aware that Broadway and many of the streets surrounding the parade route area will be closed at 8:00 a.m. SHARP. Please use alternate routes whenever available and allow extra travel time.

Christmas Parade Awards Ceremony
Approximately 30 minutes after parade conclusion at the Grape Day Park Train Depot. Thank you to the Multicultural Association for letting us use their stage and PA system!
Reminder for participants: If you competed for an award, you are required to send at least one representative from your group to the Awards Ceremony. If you do not show, you risk participation in the next year’s parade.

Immediately following the Escondido Jaycees Christmas Parade awards ceremony, enjoy performances by Mariachi bands, Mexican folklore groups, Flamenco dancers, hip-hop singers, belly dancers, Hawaiians dancers, music bands, piñatas and more! This is a free family-friendly event.
