A Bond Issue was on the ballot for Vista Unified School District voters in San Diego County, California, on November 6, 2018. It was approved. A yes vote was a vote in favor of authorizing the district to issue up to $247 million in bonds at an estimated tax rate of $0.03 per $100 in assessed value to fund facility upgrades, repairs, and safety.
On Thursday evening The School board Voted on the issue if to use A PLA (Project Labor Agreements) or not. 20 people spoke to the Board, 10 for the use of PLA and 10 not in favor. Each Trustee made a short statement on their position. A vote was taken.
Rosemary Smithfield, Cipriano Vargas, Debbie Morton, Martha Alvarado, voted to use the PLA. Rich Alderson voted no.
