Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow, House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity Chair Mike Levin (D-CA) will host Mr. Greg Anglea, CEO of Interfaith CommunityServices, and Ms. Tamera Kohler, CEO of the San Diego Regional Task Force on the Homeless, to provide testimony during a congressional hearing on veteran homelessness.
The hearing will examine access to the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) – Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) program in urban, suburban, rural, and tribal communities and work to determine wherebottlenecks exist in delivering resources in communities of all sizes. In addition to testimony by Mr. Anglea and Ms. Kohler, the hearing will also include testimony from VA officials, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, the National Coalition for HomelessVeterans, and the National American Indian Housing Council.
