On March 6, 2020, at approximately 5:40 p.m., A twelve-year-old male juvenile was at his residence in the Unincorporated area of Escondido. The juvenile was handling a revolver when a single round discharged. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. Detectives responded to the
scene and recovered the revolver. At this time, the discharge of the revolver appears to be accidental. Detectives are investigating how the juvenile obtained the revolver.
