Proposed amendment to the General Plan land use map and Zoning Map to designate specific natural resource areas as open space within the biological preserve overlay zone. It has been determined that the proposed request is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with CEQA Guidelines Section 15308, Actions by Regulatory Agencies for Protection of the Environment. Class 8 consists of actions taken by regulatory agencies, as authorized by state or local ordinance, to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of the environment where the regulatory process involves procedures for protection of the environment.
