Ivey Ranch Park Association in Oceanside to hold free Horse Therapy sessions Friday for COVID-19 first responders including healthcare workers, police and firefighters
WHAT: This Friday, in order to express their gratitude to local professionals who have been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic response, Ivey Ranch Park Association will host a free event for first responders and their families. Equine or Horse Therapy has increased greatly in popularity in recent years, and has become integrated into treatment programs for stress and a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and physical conditions.
The event will include tours of the Ivey Ranch barns, time for personal interaction with the horses, and free barbecue meals. First responders and their families have signed up in advance for all sessions.
