Alta Vista Botanical Garden’s had its first successful virtual fundraiser due to the Covid-19 situation. Normally 110 people attend our Barbecue Dinner and watch the fireworks at the Garden each year.
Donations were gladly received from all parts of the community as well as family and friends in support of the Garden’s at this difficult time, as we had to cancel all our events for 2020. These contributions helped maintain the upkeep and expenses that are needed in order to keep the Botanical Gardens operational.
Winners were delighted to receive 3 unique prizes plus 8 drawings for a private entry to our Gardens to picnic and view the Vista Fireworks display. All were happy to have lots of room to enjoy the evening with their family, while maintaining social distance.
