An eastbound single lane closure along San Marcos Boulevard from Radiance Way to Viewpoint Drive has been scheduled from Thursday, August 13 until Monday, September 28 to accommodate construction improvements related to a new Capital Improvement Project. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Delays in the schedule may occur due to inclement weather conditions.
Although two-way traffic will be maintained along San Marcos Boulevard, traffic delays are anticipated and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the work period. Standard traffic control measures with advanced warning signs and pedestrian detours will be in place.
The work being performed is a Capital Improvement Project for the City in order to stabilize the slope along San Marcos Boulevard and is being constructed through State SB-1 funds.
