In celebration of Black History Month, Alyssa Junious and BJ Robinson will create a new work inspired by the writings of Langston Hughes. In this conversation Junious will address how art has been and can be used as an act of resistance and collective healing. This engaging, interactive conversation will include recorded performances and attendees will be invited to participate throughout the conversation. This program is presented in partnership with the North County African American Women’s Association.
