As part of our community outreach, we will be reaching out to H.E.R.O. Inc Boxing Gym (non-profit) in Vista. HERO’s mission is to instill discipline in our at-risk youth in Vista by utilizing boxing as a vehicle to empower them and give them self-confidence. Founded by Rudy (U.S. Airforce veteran) and his wife Kenia Moreno, the HERO Boxing Gym has a vision of giving at-risk youth a life apart from alcohol, drugs, gangs, and domestic abuse and creating a positive backdrop for developing the essential skills and sound decision-making abilities needed throughout life. Rudy has reached out to Vista Fire Fighters Association for assistance as the pandemic has hit them hard below the belt.
