Carlsbad, June 29, 2021 – The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce announced the opening of nominations for the 2021 Carlsbad Business, Achievement, & Distinction (CBAD) Awards. The CBAD Award Luncheon will be held on Thursday October 21, 2021 at the Westin in Carlsbad. The theme for this year’s event is “Resilience”. Kurt Stocks, President of LEGOLAND California, will be our keynote speaker.
“2020 was a year unlike any other,” said Bret Schanzenbach, President and CEO of the Carlsbad Chamber. “It is time to take a step back and honor those companies, organizations and individuals who made a positive impact in our community through their resilience amidst unspeakably difficult circumstances.”

Best Place to Work (Large & Small Companies)
Nonprofit of the Year
