On Saturday, September 25, the Escondido Fire Department and Rincon Del Diablo Water District’s Fire and Water Expo/Open House will take place at Fire Station #4, located next to Kit Carson Park. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be a fun and informative event for the whole family.
Although we will not be able to provide station tours or fire truck rides this year, there will be many displays and community groups providing information about safety, water conservation and fire prevention. There will be a rescue demonstration where firefighters will use the “jaws of life” to cut apart a vehicle and CAL FIRE’s firefighting helicopter will land and provided tours of the aircraft. We hope to see you at the expo!
