Shop with a Cop

On September 30, the Escondido Police Department took 20 kids on a shopping trip to Target, funded by the Escondido Police Athletic League (PAL). The children were middle school students from Mission, Del Dios, Hidden Valley, and Rincon schools. Each child was paired with a member of the Escondido Police Department, a Probation Officer, or a Sheriff Deputy and were served dinner at the Escondido Police Department. Target rolled out the red carpet for everyone at the event and it was a great time! Special thanks to the Escondido Boys and Girls Club, PAL, the Rotary Club of Escondido, and Target.
