SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team (12-10, 9-7 CCAA) wraps up its regular season schedule this weekend, traveling to San Francisco State (19-4, 12-4 CCAA) on Friday and Cal State Monterey Bay (11-9, 5-11 CCAA) on Saturday. Both matches are slated to begin at 7 p.m.
LAST WEEKEND
CSUSM went 0-2 last weekend against two nationally-ranked teams. .
The Cougars fell in three sets (17-25, 20-25, 20-25) to previously-No. 4 Cal State San Bernardino on Thursday in The Sports Center.
CSUSM dropped a four-set match (25-19, 17-25, 19-25, 20-25) to previously-No. 21 Cal Poly Pomona on Senior Day.
Kassy Doering recorded a career-high 18 kills against CPP, finishing the night with a .531 hitting percentage (18k-1e-32ta).
Grecia Cordero-Barr collected her 17th double-digit dig performance with 18 against the Broncos.
Cordero-Barr and Doering were both honored prior to Saturday’s match as they competed in their final match in The Sports Center.
