For over 20 years the Oceanside Historical Society has hosted Downtown History Walks. History Walks are held the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning in April and run through September. Walks start at 9 a.m. in front of the Oceanside Public Library (look for the plaque of Andrew Jackson Myers). Walks are moderately paced and take about two hours. Downtown walks are free (donations are always welcome) and open to everyone. Or take a self-guided tour at the link below.
