The days are longer, the temperature is warmer, and the summer season has at last begun! As we start to head out for summer trips or just enjoy the outdoors
at home, now is a great time to embrace sustainable habits for your best summer yet. Oceanside is the ultimate outdoor playground and hiking, biking, or walking are great ways to connect with nature and learn more about conservation efforts within the City. Check out all the amazing hiking trails, paved walking paths, and beaches in and around the City! While enjoying these activities, remember some tips to promote sustainable uses of our natural resources. Bring a refillable water bottle, environmentally friendly sunscreen, hat, reusable baggies or containers for snacks, and a good pair of shoes before you head out. Not only will you be prepared for your hike, but you can greatly reduce your plastic waste too!
