It’s been four years since we have seen them at CSM. One of our favorite groups, The Wrinkled Teenagers, with Simone Reddingius and Denny Aaberg, will be playing a set of surfing songs to set the mood and get the evening underway!

Peruse photos on display about the roots of Big Wednesday, including rare, enlarged photos of Malibu in the 1960s, and Big Wednesday memorabilia from Denny’s private collection.

Denny will introduce and show two short videos, one about early Malibu surfing and the other, Little Wednesday, about the making of the movie Big Wednesday.

Bring your questions! Following the videos will be a short talk story and Q&A session.

Afterwards, Denny will be signing the hardcover Deluxe Anniversary Edition of the Big Wednesday novel. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

Can’t make it and want an autographed book? Please call the California Surf Museum at 760-721-6876 to pay with your credit card and what you would like for the endorsement.

Available at the event.
