On Saturday, June 24 and Saturday, July 1 a westbound single lane closure along San Marcos Blvd. from Pacific St. to Security Place will occur from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by Monarch Tree service to accommodate the removal of two Eucalyptus trees that are overgrown and overhanging along the travel lane. Work is being done to improve public safety for those traveling within the area of the overgrown trees. Please note that delays in the schedule may occur due to inclement weather conditions.
Drivers can expect flash signal at San Marcos Blvd. and Discovery St. and flaggers may hold westbound traffic during critical operations.
Two-way traffic will be maintainied along San Marcos Blvd., but drivers can expect traffic delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during the work period. Standard traffic control measures with advanced warning signs and pedestrian detours will be in place.
