Applications are open for the second round of the Restaurant Care Resilience Fund through November 8. This initiative, backed by a $2.1 million contribution from SoCalGas, PG&E Foundation, and SDG&E, offers $5,000 grants to independent restaurant owners across California. These grants can be employed for technology adoption, equipment upgrades, employee onboarding and retention, or unforeseen challenges. Awardees will be announced on December 1. Since its inception in 2021, the Resilience Fund has already assisted over 1,100 independent restaurants throughout the state, with 162 of them directly funded by SDG&E.
