We hope the new year is off to a good start! The plans to revitalize the Oceanside Transit Center are still underway. The project design team is hard at work refining the plans in response to city and community feedback.
From Fall of 2022 and throughout 2023, Toll Brothers Apartment Living has hosted a series of thematic meetings related to different elements of the project and it’s design, and met in one on one and in small groups with community stakeholder groups, transit advocates, and Oceanside residents. Modifications include multi-modal circulation improvements, mobility elements, enhancements to on-site and off-site pedestrian crossings, reconfiguration of the Station Plaza, increased landscaping, and more. We’re also looking forward to debuting design options for a standalone Customer Service Center and tower element to serve as an iconic sense of arrival at the heart of the Station Plaza.

Project Update Meeting on Feb. 1 at 6:00 p.m.
We are hosting a VIRTUAL meeting on Thursday, February 1st. The meeting will be held via Zoom. We plan to debut conceptual design alternatives for the Customer Service Center and begin preliminary discussion on the design for the central tower within the Station Plaza.

Next Steps
The next project milestone is public circulation of the draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). We anticipate that will take place in late March. The public will have 45 days to review the DEIR and submit comments. We will notify the project interest list as the timeline solidifies.
