Oceanside was awarded over $15 million for water projects to support the City’s ongoing efforts to further develop local, reliable, and resilient water sources. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation awarded the City three grants: to add an extraction well, brine minimization processes, and new reverse-osmosis facilities at the Mission Basin Groundwater Purification Facility; to expand the City’s recycled water system; and for the recovery of costs on the Pure Water Oceanside project.
