Annual Historical Museum Ice Cream Social Cooled Us Off

By Kathy Woods
The annual Ice Cream Social at the Vista Historical Museum on July 17, 2021 was a smash hit again this year. The museum courtyard and grounds were full with everyone visiting, and enjoying the ice cream and root beer floats that really helped cool us down on that very warm and sunny day. There were several Vista and Bonsall Prince and Princesses helping with the floats and adding toppings to their bowls of ice cream. Even our favorite server, Norm Halus, was scooping away for us to enjoy the ice cream.

All of the vendors had amazing items to assist in our shopping fun, such as Family Affair Ceramics, Dragonfire, Uniquely You Earrings and Things, Fresh Farm To You, Makenlief, Aunt Nancy’s Fancies, Spice Junction Blends, Cards & Crafts, and Sassy Sisters. My favorite shopping find was a high heeled shoe with the most fabulous succulent live plants inside the shoe. What an ingenious idea created by Robin Satori.

Make sure you do not miss it next year.
