Brooks Street Swim Center has temporarily closed for a much-needed $1.2M makeover. State and County grant funding join City funds to renovate the pool’s deck, re-plaster the main and wading pools, and replace mechanical equipment.
The demolition phase of the project has begun and is expected to take about a month. Renovations begin immediately after demolition. It’s expected that the project will be complete and reopen to the public by late June.
During the construction work, programming at the Brooks Street Swim Center has shifted to Marshall Street Swim Center.
