There are seven State-wide ballot Propositions on the November ballot. The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has taken positions on 2 propositions:
NO-Proposition 30 Increases the tax on personal income above $2 million by 1.75% and dedicates revenue to zero-emission vehicle projects and wildfire prevention programs
NO-Proposition 29 Enacts staffing requirements, reporting requirements, ownership disclosure, and closing requirements for chronic dialysis clinics.
