Carlsbad Girl Scout Troop earning Bronze Award

Our local Girl Scout Troop in Carlsbad is working on earning their Bronze Award which is the 3rd highest award a Girl Scout can earn, and the highest they can earn at their age (ages 10-11). They are hosting a Virtual Drive to collect items and money to put together Welcome Bags from Ronald McDonald House. They have already put together Birthday Bags for foster children at Straight From the Heart and Art Kits for the foster girls at Casa De Amparo in Vista. They have created a website to make it easy for anyone to help. https://troop1942.wixsite.com/bronze
It’s much harder to pull this off during this pandemic but that’s not going to stop them, it’s just slowing them down a bit. Any help in getting the word out would be much appreciated.
These girls all started together in kindergarten. Even though they aren’t all in the same school together anymore, this troop remains strong. They go to La Costa Meadows, La Costa Heights, Pacific Coast Academy, Classical Academy and Homeschool.
Thank you for your consideration.
